Cops and the Secret Service are investigating an incident in Frederick involving an evident effort to frighten citizens with the shipment of a threatening letter. The Secret Service is included since the letter particularly threatened Democratic governmental candidate Joe Biden and vice presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris. Like people in many communities, residents in Frederick reveal their political choices through lawn signs.
Kirk Henneberry stated. The letter cautioned, "If you are a Biden-Harris advocate, you will be targeted. We have a list of houses by your election indications. We will not comply or offer anything up, particularly our guns." The author threatens to shoot and kill former Arizona Rep. Gabby Giffords, who was shot and injured in 2011.

One Monday we had a personnel meeting to speak about various precautions we might take during the spread of the virus, but then things moved so rapidly that by the end of that week we were almost completely shut down.
Additionally, our home build and home repair programs closed to secure volunteers and customers, most of whom are elders. Without the ReStore profits, and without programs in operation, we were pushed into monetary crisis almost overnight and our management was required to furlough the majority of our staff. Those initial weeks at the beginning of everything COVID were extremely frightening for us, as I make sure they were for a lot of you.
